Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Tate's career-best 36 points leads Lancers over No. 7 Ravens

The University of Windsor Lancers women's basketball team earned a commanding 77-58 victory over the No. 7 nationally ranked Carleton Ravens on Friday, November 28 at the Toldo Lancer Centre.

GAME FLOW
Windsor and Carleton played an even 17–17 opening quarter before the Lancers broke the game open in the second frame. Windsor outscored the Ravens 23–12 in the quarter, taking a 40–29 lead into halftime. The Lancers carried that momentum into the third, delivering their most dominant stretch of the night with a 27–16 advantage that extended the lead beyond reach. Carleton edged Windsor 13–10 in the fourth, but the Lancers' commanding middle quarters ensured a comfortable wire-to-wire victory. Windsor's strong ball movement, perimeter efficiency, and ability to capitalize on Raven turnovers shaped the game. The Lancers shot 33.3% from three, tallied 13 assists, and collected eight steals while committing just four turnovers to maintain firm control throughout.
