The Windsor Lancers men's basketball team saw their season come to a close Wednesday night, in the first round of the 2024-25 OUA playoffs. 

STATS 

Simeon Smith led the way for the blue and gold, totaling 22 points and 8 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. Emmanuel Otong followed with 13 points, and Yashar Greaves-Saadat chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. 

GAME FLOW 

The pace was slow off the jump, with only 5 points being scored in the first 3 minutes of the game. There would be some traded shots throughout the opening stretch before the Lancers would use a late quarter run to open a 19-11 gap. 

Laurentian would use a run of their own at the start of the 2nd quarter to close the gap to 35-31 in favor of the Lancers. The game would continue to shift back and forth in the third, before a late game run gave the Voyagers a 75-59 win.
