The Lancer women's curling team competed at the OUA championships this past weekend at the Idylwylde Golf and Country Club in Sudbury, ON.
 
The blue and gold went 2-2 over the weekend and finished seventh overall in the standings.

After a tough opening day with loses to Algoma and Laurier, the Lancers re-grouped on day two with consecutive come-from-behind victories over Queen's and Ontario Tech, narrowly missing a playoff berth and propelling the Lancers to their best finish at the competition since the team rejoined the OUA for the 2018-19 season.
 
With the team losing only one member to graduation going into next season, this season's championship added a boost of confidence that the team will draw on next season.
