University of Windsor Lancers men's volleyball coach
James Gravelle has been named the OUA Coach of the Year, while
Darian Koskie,
Gustavo Siqueira, and
Markus Law-Heese have been named OUA all-stars for the 2025-26 season.
Gravelle earns the Coach of the Year title for the second year in a row, and has now won the award three times in the past four seasons. The Windsor native led the Lancers to an 18-2 (W-L) record this season for a first place finish in the OUA, tying the program-best mark that was set last year. Gravelle's squad led the OUA in several statistical categories, including points per set (16.1), hitting percentage (.314), kills per set (12.39), and blocks per set (2.20), demonstrating his ability to lead his players to success in all aspects of the game. Under Gravelle's leadership, the blue and gold had the fewest attack errors (272) and the second-fewest service errors (284) and reception errors (67) in the league, another big reason for their dominant regular season.
Darian Koskie and
Gustavo Siqueira were named first-team all-stars, while
Markus Law-Heese was named to the second team.
This is Koskie's second time being named to the first team and third overall OUA all-star selection. He led the country with a blistering .475 hitting percentage from the middle and his 0.87 blocks per set ranked third in the OUA. This regular season he recorded 160 kills and 210.0 points while playing in 71 sets across 20 games. He had 62 total blocks, 14 of which were solo, and 12 service aces.
Siqueira earns a spot on the first all-star team for the first time in his career, having been named to the second and third teams previously, as well as the all-rookie team in his first year. The fifth-year outside hitter recorded 258 total kills for 3.63 kills per set, which ranked third in the OUA and fifth in U SPORTS, and his .335 hitting percentage was fifth in the province. The Brazilian had 309.0 points in the regular season, as well as 116 digs, 14 solo blocks, 38 total blocks, and 25 service aces.
Last season's OUA Most Valuable Player, Law-Heese earns his third career OUA all-star selection and second time on the second team. The fifth-year setter ranked third in the OUA with 9.72 assist per set, totaling 690 assists. He recorded 64.0 points, 44 kills, 147 digs, 22 total blocks, and six service aces in the regular season.
