University of Windsor Lancers football player Brady Lidster has signed a CFL contract with the Toronto Argonauts.

Drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the eighth round of the CFL Canadian Draft this spring, Lidster was cut at the end of training camp and will now suit up for the blue and gold alongside fellow 2025 Lancer teammates Ethan John and Weagbe Mombo.

A U SPORTS first team All-Canadian and OUA first team all-star in 2025, Lidster holds Windsor records for career field goals, single-season field goals and points. He made 82% (27/33) of his field goal attempts in the 2025 regular season and was a perfect 15 of 15 on point after converts.

Through five weeks of the CFL season, the Argonauts hold a 2-3 (W-L) record, tied for second place in the CFL's East Division.
