Lancers draw fourth straight tie on Alumni Weekend

The Lancer men's soccer team played to their fourth straight 0-0 tie this past Saturday against the McMaster Marauders on Alumni Weekend.

In the pouring rain and driving winds, the Lancers and Marauders applied heavy pressure on each other throughout the game.

Windsor defender Arlo Hemkes had an opportunity in each half to get the Lancers on the scoreboard, while midfielder Darrin Dielemans also had an opportunity to score for the Lancers but was unable to convert and put Windsor on the board.

In the dying minutes of the match, both teams came up short as they each hit the cross bar.

Dan Mendonca earned his sixth shut-out of the season, making three saves throughout the game.

Windsor now travels to Laurier to take on the Golden Hawks on Saturday October 9th at 3:15pm and the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday at 3:15pm.
