The Kentucky Wildcats completed their three game Canadian exhibition tour with a 104-75 victory over the Windsor Lancers on Tuesday morning at the St. Denis Centre.
Tuesday's game was part of the 6th annual OUA/NCAA Tip-Off Classic held on the campus of the University of Windsor.
The Wildcats got 25 points apiece from Brandon Knight and Doron Lamb in front of 1,889 fans at the St. Denis Centre.
On Tuesday, both Kentucky and Windsor got off to fast starts as each team was executing effectively at the offensive end.
Kentucky built an early 18-15 lead thanks to some hot outside shooting from Knight and Lamb. They extended their lead to 10 points late in the half en route to building a 53-35 lead at the break.
In the second half, the Lancers worked hard to mount a charge as fifth year senior
Monty Hardware started to heat up. The Toronto, Ontario native finished with 23 points on 8 of 12 shooting, including 5 of 6 from long range tp cut into the Kentucky lead.
From there, the Wildcats, went on another big run to extend their lead to 20 points midway through the half. The trio of Knight, Lamb and Darius Miller was too much for the Lancers as they earned the 104-75 victory.
In addition to Knight and Lamb's 25-point performances, the Wildcats got 24 points on 10 of 12 shooting from Darius Miller. Josh Harrellson chipped in with 8 points and 19 rebounds.
For Windsor, Hardware led the way with 23 points, while
Isaac Kuon added 16 points and 7 assists.
Lien Phillip had a strong game in the post for the Lancers as he finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
