Prince helps guide Canada over Jamaica at Pan Am Games

Lancer Basketball alumnus Raelyn Prince scored seven points and added five rebounds as Canada defeated Jamaica 96-29 in women's basketball at the Pan Am Games Sunday in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Prince was 2-for-2 from field goal range and 3-for-4 at the free throw line.

The six-foot-two forward, who played over 12 minutes, pulled down three defensive rebounds and two offensive rebounds.

Justine Colley of Ahlifax led Canada with 16 points, while Brampton's Alisha Tatham chipped in with 15 points.

After a pair of losses to Brazil and Columbia earlier in the week, Canada will face Argentina on Monday in the fifth place game.

On the men's side, Lancer forward Lien Phillip and Canada will play their first game on Wednesday against Argentina at 11:30am.

They will then face Mexico Thursday at 6:30pm and round out preliminary play on Friday against Puerto Rico at 11:30am.
