The Lancer men's soccer team edged the Waterloo Warriors 3-2 on Friday afternoon at Warrior Field.
 
The Lancers held a 3-0 lead with five minutes remaining before the Warriors came storming back, attempting to spoil the Lancers win.
 
Renato Galusic scored his second of the season to give the Lancers a 1-0 just six minutes into the contest.
 
Eric Cirovski would score his first of two goals before the twenty minute mark to increase the Lancer lead to two heading into the break.
 
Cirovski would capitalize again at the 68 minute mark to build a three goal cushion for the Blue & Gold.
 
The Warriors did not give up however, and came storming back with a pair of goals in the final five minutes of the contest. Sam Atkin was able to hold on in net for Windsor to secure the victory.
 
Windsor will play a rare mid-week game this coming Tuesday night against the Western Mustangs at 8:45pm on Alumni Field.
