Box Score
In their final regular season home game, the Lancer Men's Hockey team earned a single point in a 2-1 overtime loss to the visiting Brock Badgers.

Prior to the first face-off, the Lancers honoured graduating seniors Scott Gillis, Kyle Lang, Scott Todd, Jim Watt, Frank Dayus, and Kyle Nishizaki for their contributions to the program.

The Lancers were also decked out in pink laces and stick tape to support breast cancer awareness in the Lancers annual “Blue, Gold, & Pink” day.

The Lancer men came out strong scoring first to take a 1-0 lead midway through the opening period.

Dan Lombardi accepted a pass from Matt McCready and put a puck over Kurt Jory's shoulder for his third of the year.

Brock battled back in the second and evened the game at one as Matt Abercrombie got a shot past a screened Frank Dayus.

The rest of the game was a high intensity game with hard hits and fast paced play, as the game stayed tied 1-1 throughout the third to head into overtime.

With a late penalty called on the Lancers in regular time, Brock took their penalty into the overtime. With only 12 seconds remaining in the man advantage, Abercrombie scored his second of the game on the power play to give Brock the win.

Windsor heads to Waterloo next Saturday to take on the Laurier Golden Hawks at 7:30pm.
