University of Windsor Lancers men's hockey player Stef Dobrich has signed a professional contract with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL for the 2026-27 season.

Dobrich recorded nine assists in 26 regular season games in 2025-26, ranking third in Lancer defencemen scoring and setting an OUA career-high in points. In the OUA playoffs, he added two assists in four games as the blue and gold earned an OUA silver medal, and he appeared in all three U SPORTS Championship games in Halifax. The blueliner proved to be a steady force for the blue and gold throughout his career, consistently matching up against and shutting down top opposing players.

In his OUA career, Dobrich played in 91 regular season games for Windsor, scoring one goal and adding 18 assists for 19 career points.

The Kalamazoo Wings are based in the ECHL's Western Conference and are affiliated with the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) and Abbotsford Canucks (AHL). They had a 36-30-3-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record, finishing fifth in the Central Division.
