The Lancer men's soccer team split a pair of games over the Thanksgiving weekend.
 
 A 1-0 loss to the Western Mustangs on Friday night in London started the weekend. In torrential rain the Lancers went behind 1-0 just before the half. The team put a lot of pressure on the Western goal in the second half but could not get the equaliser.
 
On Sunday, the team returned home to host the UOIT Ridgebacks on Alumni filed.
 
Windsor got off to a great start with a great header goal by Mike Pio just seven minutes into the contest. Pio notched his second of the game midway through the second half to secure the three points for Windsor.
 
Sam Atkin recorded the shutout in net for the Lancers.
 
The team hits the road next weekend and travel to Waterloo to face the Laurier Golden Hawks and Waterloo Warriors.
