The Windsor Lancers are proud to announce that
Alyssa Baldin and
Natalie Barrette have been named OUA women's hockey all-stars, as announced today by Ontario University Athletics.
Baldin, the Lancer team captain, was named to the OUA first team. The fifth-year NCAA transfer from Wayne State University finished fifth in league scoring with 28 points and second in goals with 15. The Mississauga, Ont. native net seven of her goals on the power play, tying her for the league lead.
Barrette, a graduate of the Southwest Wildcats, was named to the OUA all-rookie team after an exciting first year on the Lancer blueline. A native of Belle River, Ont., Barrette finished in the top 20 scoring among OUA blueliners and third among rookie defenders. A stay at home blueliner, Barrette sees the ice well and has a great shot from the point.
Congratulations ladies!
