Box Score THUNDER BAY, Ont.- The Windsor Lancers women's basketball team topped the Lakehead Thunderwolves 81-57, taking home a weekend sweep and improving to 19-0 on the season.
The Lancers were led by
Jessica Clemencon, who recorded a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double.
Miah-Marie Langlois was just short of a triple-double, picking up 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to help the CIS No. 1 ranked Lancers to their 19th straight conference victory.
For the second straight evening, the Lancers dominated the opening two quarters of play, recording 44 points in the first half. The defending national champions held the Thunderwolves to just 22 points in the second half, and shot over 50% from the floor for the second night in a row en route to the victory.
The Lancers hold a two-lead for first in the OUA West division coming out of the weekend, and are back at the St. Denis Centre on Wednesday evening, when they will take on the Western Mustangs in their final home game of the season. The Lancers will close out the regular season against Brock on February 16.
