Kali Grootenboer has been named an OUA first team all-star for her performance during the 2025-26 season.
Grootenboer played in all 22 regular season games in 2025-26, averaging 16.1 points per game, 11.3 rebounds per game, 1.1 assists per game, 0.7 steals per game, and 2.5 blocks per game. She shot 55.2% from the field and 67.3% from the line.
The fourth-year centre from Thunder Bay, Ont. led the OUA in field goal percentage (55.2%) and total blocks with 54.
Grootenboer scored a career-high 27 points on January 27 in a 93-74 win at Western. From Nov. 7 - Jan. 23, the Human Kinetics major had a 12-game double-double streak of at least ten points and ten rebounds each game.
This marks Grootenboer's second time receiving an OUA award. She was named to the OUA all-rookie team in 2022-23.
