Women's Soccer dominates Thunderbirds

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Lancer women's soccer team earned a pair of convincing victories over the Algoma Thunderbirds this weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
 
The Lancers defeated the Thunderbirds 11-1 in both contests and are now 6-3-0 on the season and currently sit in fourth place in the OUA west division.
 
Second year forward Becca Feurth had an explosive weekend leading the Blue & Gold with six-goals, recording a hat-trick in each game. The Woodslee, ON native split her goals between the two halves on Saturday before dominating the field in the second half on Sunday registering three goals in just 22-minutes.
 
Rookie forward Amber Hosker also had a standout weekend registering four goals, including her first OUA career hat-trick on Saturday. The Windsor, ON native score all three goals in the second half of the lopsided victory.
 
Jaclyn Faraci and rookie Cassie Cretien each had three goals over the weekend, while Bella Riccardi registered a pair. Other goal scorers included Tess Roberts, Giulia Barile, Corinne Robinson, and Lauren Parent.
 
Windsor will return home on Wednesday night, October 1st, to host the Western Mustangs at Alumni Field. Game time is slated for 6:00pm.
