The Lancer women's soccer team fell to the Western Mustangs in a shootout in the OUA bronze medal game on Sunday afternoon in London.

Giulia Barile scored the Lancers lone goal in the 24th minute to give Windsor a one goal lead until the final moments of the game.

With mere seconds remaining in extra time Amanda Boyle headed the ball over the head of Lancer goaltender Krystin Lawrence and into the net to tie the game.

The game went straight into a shootout, where the Mustangs made four straight goals to secure the win and the OUA bronze medal.
