The Department of Athletics and the Lancer Football program are pleased to announce that Randy Beardy has been named an OUA football second team all-star.
 
The fifth year offensive lineman started in every game for the Blue & Gold this season, and is being named to the all-star team for the first time in his career.
 
"I am very happy for Randy to get the recognition he deserves in his final season. Randy has started every game of his University career and will be greatly missed. His leadership and skill will be hard to replace," said head coach Joe D'Amore. "He is currently playing with the Ottawa Redblacks, which shows how good of a player he is. We are extremely proud of him."
