Men's Basketball defeats Ferris State

The University of Windsor Lancers completed a two-game sweep of American opponents with the team wrapping up play in the 13th Annual NCAA/OUA Tipoff Classic on Sunday.
 
The Lancers rallied from a 12-point deficit after three quarters to beat the Ferris State University Bulldogs by a 73-67 score at the St. Denis Centre.
 
Lancer guard Mike Rocca led all scorers with 30 points while newcomer Marcus Jones finished with 14 points and Damian Persaud added 12 points for the Lancers, who trailed 59-47 after three quarters.
 
Ferris was led by Drew Cushingberry with 17 points, and Noah King with the game's only double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds.
 
Windsor will now break until September 30th when they host Centennial College at 7:00pm.
