GAME FLOW
Things got off to a rough start for the blue and gold, who struggled to establish their offense in the early going. Contributions from
Tyra Blizzard kept the Lancers out in front while they started to establish a presence in the post and build a lead. Despite the lead, the Lions kept playing and fought back into the game late in the first quarter, going on an 8-0 run in the last 90 second to finish the quarter up one, 21-20. The second saw Windsor wrestled the lead back with great presence down low and with timely stops to head into the half up three, 39-36.
Â
In the third, the Lancers kept to their game plan and worked the ball inside for the most part, with Clarke leading the scoring and defensive effort on the other end with five steals over three quarters. Windsor opened up the floor in the fourth using some great and timely offense to run away with the game, 97-76.
