SATURDAY @ NIPSSING
After some back and forth play to start the game, the Lancers went on a 4-0 run that gave them a 16-14 lead at the technical. Out of the timeout the Lancers continued their run, capturing the first set 25-20 in the process and taking a 1-0 lead over the Lakers.
Â
The Lancers led wire to wire in the second set. The Blue and Gold had productive possessions from the service line and made sure to keep their foes at bay in the early going. Like the Lancers in set one though, the Lakers came roaring back and tied the set at the technical timeout before taking a lead. Despite the late lead, the Lancers again came back to take the set, 25-19, going up 2-0 over their hosts.
Â
The Lakers came out hot in the third set, playing to avoid the sweep and quickly building a 7-3 lead.
Roland Bouchard came up big on a run to eliminate the Windsor deficit and in a flash the blue and gold were back on top in a tightly contested set. The Lancers began distancing themselves before the technical and despite some determination by the Lakers, won the set 25-22, sweeping the Lakers.

SUNDAY @ YORK

Â
Windsor kept their momentum into the second frame, going on a huge run, giving them an early 14-5 lead.
Â
The lions found some footing as they began to mount an attack of their own, narrowing the deficit to five points. However, the blue and gold held off to take the frame 25-19.
Â
The third set again saw the Lancers take off to the early lead. York battled their way back to tie the game at 21 points each, but were unable to complete the comeback. Windsor took the final frame 25-22, winning the match.
