The department of athletics and the Lancer women's soccer team are pleased to have two Lancers named OUA women's soccer all-stars as announced by Ontario University Athletics Thursday.
 
Midfielder Jade Samping and goalkeeper Lauren Gellner have been named to the west division team. This is the first time they have been recognized as all-stars in their careers.
 
Gellner started all ten games for the blue and gold, earning 5 clean sheets in the process, while Samping also started all ten matches and played the full 90 minutes in each of those games and recording 14 shots.  
 
"Jade and Lauren are two leaders within our program on and off the field, and this individual accolade is a reflection of that," said women's soccer head coach Dan Mendonca. "Their commitment to our program values, and on field performance is second to none.  I am proud of them, and look forward to watching their growth going forward."
