The Lancer cross country team competed at the OUA championships Saturday in London, ON.

The Lancer men finished sixth overall in the team standings, while the Lancer women finished seventh overall.

Josh Zilles ran an impressive 25:25 over the 8km course to place 11th overall and be named an OUA second team all-star.

Jonathan Rioux was the next Lancer to cross the line in a time of 26:28 to place 27th overall. Other Windsor scorers included
Cole Hannam (26:50),
Luke Mawhinney (27:08), and Ryan Mutchkey (27:41).

On the women's side, rookie
Samara Quanz was named an OUA all-star with a tenth place finish. She finished the 8km course in an impressive time of 30:29.

Sydney Pattison finished the race in a time of 32:45, while
Megan Koski (32:52),
Lauren Perkins (33:12), and
Nicole LaRue (33:18) also scored for the blue and gold.

Zillies and Quanz will now represent the blue and gold at the U SPORTS Championships in Quebec City on November 20th. Â
