GAME FLOW
In the first half of the game the Lancers came out strong and built a 17-9 lead midway through the first quarter. The Mustangs slowly came back, and Windsor held a narrow 24-22 lead heading into the break. The second quarter was much of the same and the blue and gold held on tight 48-46 into the second half of the game.
Â
The second half saw the Mustangs slowly make moves to regain their ground on their home court. Western's Shiddo could not be stopped with multiple 3-pointers and multiple scoring opportunities that Windsor struggled against. The Lancers were really put to the test in the final ten minutes as their offense struggled to make consistent shots to close the gap and come out on top.
