In their first of a two-game series, the Lancer men's basketball team came from behind to edge the host McMaster Marauders 87-84 Wednesday night in Hamilton.

Telloy Simon has a massive game for the blue and gold, scoring 33 points and 10 rebounds, while Thomas Kennedy had a monster night on the boards, pulling down 22 rebounds to go along with his 23 points.
 
McMaster was led by Jordan Henry with 18 points and 6 rebounds.
 
GAME FLOW
The Lancers started the game strong dominating the paint and hitting from long-range. The Marauders would pressure the blue and gold, but Windsor held on and led by three, 18-15, at after ten minutes.
 
The Lancers continued to fire on all cylinders throughout the second, but the Marauders would inch their way back and take their first lead of the game with just over five minutes left in the half. The two squads battled back and forth for the remainder of the frame and went into the break tied 38-38.
 
Tied up at 50 in the third, the Marauders finally got out in front of the blue and gold building a seven-point lead by the end of the quarter. In the fourth, the hosts went up by ten points but the blue and gold never gave up as they inched their way back late in the game. With just under 90 seconds to go, Telloy Simon nailed a three-pointer to put the Lancers back in front by two, 84-82. The Lancers buckled down on defense in the final minute and held on for the 87-84 win.
