The Lancer men's basketball team dropped a 92-68 loss to the McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon at the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse. The game was part of the With 1 Voice initiative in collaboration with the Marauders.

Thomas Kennedy had a big day for the Lancers with 16 points and 17 rebounds, while
Ziphion Grant had a big day from beyond the arc, hitting 4 out of 6 three-point attempts. He would finish the day with 13 points.Â

GAME FLOW
The Lancers started today's game in a very strong fashion as Grant opened up the scoring with a big three-pointer. This would be the start of a back-and-forth affair that would last the rest of the first quarter.
Thomas Kennedy would be a crucial playmaker throughout the quarter, making plays on defense and offense, but the Marauders would lead by a slim 27-23 margin after the first quarter.

The second quarter saw the Marauders begin to capitalize on Lancer turnovers to increase their lead and hold a 43-30 lead at the half.

The Lancers came out in the third quarter with two massive three-pointers that got the fans on their feet as a Windsor comeback attempt was in full swing. Although the Lancers pushed, the Marauders would continue to take advantage scoring 27 total points off of Windsor's 24 turnovers.

Windsor continued to show their resilience, scoring 11 points as they searched to get back into the game. Despite the Lancer's best effort, the game would finish 92-68.
