The University of Windsor's Provost & Vice-President Academic Dr. Robert Aquirre and the Windsor Lancers honoured Lancer varsity student-athletes at a breakfast reception Tuesday morning for their selection as outstanding scholar-athletes.
 
From the perspective of university athletics, this achievement is the highest form of honour bestowed by the U SPORTS and conference offices. The accomplishment of excellence in both academics and athletics epitomizes what Canadian University athletics stands for.
 
The Lancers are proud to have 182 student-athletes names as Academic All-Canadians – based upon achieving a minimum of 80% or a 10.5 GPA over full-time fall/winter studies while also competing as a varsity athlete.
