University of Windsor Lancers women's soccer players
Avery Comartin and
Izzy Barrette have been named OUA All-Stars for the 2025 season.
Comartin, a third-year striker, was named a first-team all-star. The Human Kinetics major led the Lancers in scoring with six goals in twelve games, tying her career-high from last season. Three of those goals by the Windsor native were game-winners, including scoring the lone goal back-to-back 1-0 Lancer wins against Waterloo in September.
Barrette, the Lancer goalkeeper, was named a second-team all-star. The third-year keeper played every minute of every game for Windsor, putting together a 6-4-2 (W-L-T) record in her second full season starting for the blue and gold. Barrette allowed just nine goals in 12 regular season games, good for a 0.75 goals against average and an .809 save percentage, both of which ranked third in the OUA. Her six clean sheets tripled her previous career-high of two.
