University of Windsor Lancers men's hockey forward
Keegan McMullen has signed an ECHL Standard Player Contract with the Orlando Solar Bears.
McMullen scored 21 goals this season, tying for the OUA lead and ranking third in U SPORTS. He added eight assists for 29 points, with five goals coming on the power play. He continued his strong play in the OUA playoffs, scoring four times in five games and adding an assist as the Lancers finished as OUA silver medalists. The Cambridge, Ont. native played in all three games at the U SPORTS Championship in Halifax, helping the team place fourth overall. McMullen was named an OUA first-team all-star for the second consecutive season.
In his career with the Lancers, McMullen scored 45 goals and 35 assists for 80 points in 105 career games. He earned two OUA silver medals and two U SPORTS berths.
The Solar Bears are the ECHL affiliate of the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) and Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL).
