Paronuzzi announced as first 2026-27 men's hockey recruit

University of Windsor Lancers men's hockey head coach Kevin Hamlin has announced his first recruit of the 2026-27 class in Connor Paronuzzi, a left winger from the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL.

In 2025-26, Paronuzzi scored 15 goals and 30 assists for 45 points in 52 games split between the Brooks Bandits (BCHL) and Steinbach Pistons (MJHL). He had 27 points in just 23 games with Steinbach and added 12 in 11 playoff games.

"Connor was an easy decision for me," said Hamlin. "He scored 90+ points for Steinbach two years ago and I knew immediately that we had make him a Lancer.  He adds an offensive dimension that every team in our league needs."

A native of Emeryville, Ont., Paronuzzi played three seasons with Steinbach, and previously spent two years in Ontario with the Chatham Maroons (GOJHL) and Wellington Dukes (OJHL).
