Five University of Windsor Lancers football players and two coaches will represent Team West at the 2026 U SPORTS East-West Bowl in Waterloo, Ont. on Saturday, May 9.

Daniel Hector, and
Kayleb Parker will dress for Team West on the field, while Alex Penz and Mike Domanico will be coaching from the sidelines.
Nick Dimovski started every game at quarterback for the Lancers this season, passing at a 64.4% effectiveness for 1657 yards and three touchdowns. The Belle River native ran for 301 yards and five touchdowns, proving to be a dual threat every game.
Evan Martin ranked second on the Lancers with 307 receiving yards on 34 receptions, averaging 38.4 yards per game as he was a threat to opposing defenses every game.
Ahmad Taylor set career highs of 19 solo tackles and 31 total tackles during the regular season and added eight solo tackles in two playoff games. The third-year defensive end had eight regular season sacks, second in the OUA, and two more in the playoffs.
Receiver
Daniel Hector had three receptions for 35 yards this season.
Kayleb Parker played in all eight games on the offensive line this season.
Mike Domanico will serve as a defensive backs assistant. He has played in a role in the Lancers having a strong backfield, including working with
Ethan John to be one of the best DBs in the nation.
Alex Penz was named special teams coordinator. In his first year in this role with the blue and gold, he has guided one of the top special teams units in the OUA. Under his direction, Lancer special teams proved to be a true competitive advantage. His work played a major role in kicker
Brady Lidster emerging as the top kicker in the country and he spends countless hours recruiting and building meaningful relationships.
