Five members of the University of Windsor Lancers football team participated at the 2026 CFL Combine in Edmonton, Alta. this weekend (Mar. 27-29).

Ethan John, and
Harrison Daley had the opportunity to show off their skills and strengths over the weekend with a series of tests and practices alongside the top football prospects in Canada in front of scouts, coaches, and CFL team management. Quayson, Talbot, and John all advanced to this combine after being selected from the Invitational Combine earlier this month.
On Friday, players were put through testing, which included the 40 yard dash, 3-cone drill, vertical and broad jumps, short shuttle, and bench press. Saturday and Sunday were practice days in full equipment.

Quayson and Talbot were named honourable mentions for Friday's coaches' picks among offensive players. These players are highlighted by a group of CFL Combine coaches that are on loan from their CFL teams.
The 2026 CFL Draft will be held on Tuesday, April 28.
