The Windsor Lancers Track and Field program will host their annual Team Challenge meet this weekend at the St. Denis Centre.
The meet is scheduled to start at 1:30pm on Saturday and will feature some of top track and field programs from around the province.
Saturday's meet will also be the final home event before the CIS National Championships for Windsor's five graduating seniors.
Included in that group are Lancer standouts
Mike Miller,
Danielle Harrison,
Dayna Pidhoresky,
Alex Meyer and
Jeff Vukasovic.
The Lancers are coming off an impressive weekend where they earned 15 medals and met four CIS championship qualifying standards at meets at Notre Dame and York University.
Noelle Montcalm had two of the qualifying performances at Notre Dame's Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Indiana as she won gold in the Women's 300 metres in a time of 38.85 and silver in the Women's 200 metres in 24.10.
Jeff Vukasovic, one of the Lancer seniors, also had a strong weekend as he earned a silver medal with a vault of 4.85 metres.
Miller, a fifth year senior, met the qualifying standard the weekend before in the shot put with a throw of 16.48 metres.
