University of Windsor Lancers track and field assistant coach Brett Lumley has been named to Team Canada's coaching staff for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23 – August 2.

Lumley is one of eight team coaches sporting the maple leaf, as he adds to his impressive resume with the national team for Athletics Canada. He also represented Canada at the Commonwealth Games in 2022 and he recently coached at the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games.

The Commonwealth Games take place from July 23 to August 2 in Glasgow, Scotland. This event brings together athletes from countries that formerly made up the British Commonwealth. This marks the second times the Games will be in Glasgow.
