Lancer Hockey comes from behind to defeat Western in overtime

Van Buskirk made 33 saves in the win for Windsor
Box Score The Lancer men's hockey team came from behind to defeat the Western Mustangs 4-3 in overtime on Friday night at Windsor Arena.
 
The Mustang's took an early 2-0 lead in the contest with a pair of power play goals scored by wingers Keaton Turkiewicz and Aaron Snow.
 
However, Windsor came out firing in the second period scoring two unanswered goals in the period to tie the game heading into the final period.
 
Tom Craig scored his first of the season in the third period to give the Lancers their first lead of the game.
 
Windsor's lead would only a few minutes as Mustangs Andrew Eastman tied the game late in the third to send the game into overtime.
 
In a tight overtime period, Windsor capitalized on Western's only penalty of the frame as Ryan Green scored his fourth of the year to give Windsor the win.
 
Windsor will host the Brock Badgers on Saturday night at 7:30pm as part of Alumni Weekend at Windsor Arena.
