Josh Collins of the Lancer Men's Basketball team has been named the OUA Pioneer Petrolium Male Athlete of the Week, as announced by the OUA.
 
The third year point guard had an outstanding week to open up the second half of OUA competition as he led the Lancers to a pair of impressive victories over the visiting McMaster Marauders and Guelph Gryphons.
 
On Wednesday against McMaster, Collins scored a team high 19 points and added 6 assists and 5 steals in the Lancers 78-64 win.
 
In Windsor's 70-59 win over Guelph on Saturday, the General Arts major had a game high 26 points and added 6 assists to help the Lancers earn their fourth straight regular season victory.

The native of Thornhill, Ontario native currently ranks fifth in the nation in assists with 5.6 apg in addition to averaging 14.1 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game.
