James Gravelle, head coach of the Lancer Men's Volleyball program, is pleased to announce the commitment of top local recruit Brad Gyemi for the 2015-16 season.
 
A talented left side, Gyemi was named the St. Anne's High School junior and senior athlete of the year for the past two years, and helped the Saints to two consecutive WECSSAA AAAA titles in 2013 & 2014.
 
As the Saints' team captain, Gyemi was named team MVP last season and was named a unanimous first team all-city selection.
 
Gravelle believes Gyemi will be an immediate benefit to the team next season. "We are very pleased and proud to have Brad joining our program," said Gravelle. "He is a top local player from the Windsor-Essex community who has great size and is a talented, offensively gifted left side."
 
Gyemi is thrilled to be joining the Blue & Gold, and thinks the University of Windsor is a great fit for him. "The Windsor Lancer men's volleyball program is on the rise, and I am ecstatic to be a part of a group that will be working towards a provincial title"
 
An honour roll student at St. Anne's, Brad will be studying in the Computer Science program here at the University of Windsor next fall.
