A native of Windsor, Morkin played 28 games over the last four seasons for the Lancers. In the 2023 East-West Bowl in Hamilton, Morkin put up 28 reps of the 225-pound bench press weight.
Â
"I'm really proud of our student-athletes, how they performed at the combine and making the most of their opportunities," said Lancer football head coach
Jean-Paul Circelli. "These fine young men have laid the groundwork for our program's success, which has now lead to national recognition. They have also helped to cultivate a culture of excellence, which has lead to improved confidence amongst our younger student-athletes and demonstrated that professional football is an attainable goal."
