Four members of the University of Windsor Lancers football team were announced as U SPORTS All-Canadians at the 2025 U SPORTS All-Canadian Awards Dinner this evening in Regina, Sask. Brady Lidster was named a first-team All-Canadian and Ahmad Taylor, Braxton Johnson, and Istvan Assibo-Dadzie were named second-team All-Canadians. All four players were also named OUA first-team all-stars on Nov. 6.

Brady Lidster recorded the third-most field goals made (27) by any kicker in OUA history, setting Lancer records for most field goals in a career (81), most points in a career, and most field goals in a single season (27). His seven field goals on September 27 against Waterloo tied the all-time OUA single-game record. Lidster went 15/15 in extra-point conversions, tying him for first in the OUA with a conversion rate of 100%, and his 96 total points tied for the most in the province. Nationally, his 27 field goals made led U SPORTS by eight, and again tied for the lead in points.

Ahmad Taylor had 19 solo tackles and 31 total tackles in eight regular season games and added eight solo tackles in two playoff games for good measure. His eight sacks placed the third-year defensive end second in Canada.

Braxton Johnson led the nation with 8.5 sacks in the regular season, which resulted in a total of 53 yards for a loss. The third-year defensive tackle had 15 solo tackles and 32 total tackles in the regular season.

Istvan Assibo-Dadzie was named a second-team All-Canadian for the second consecutive season. He recorded 22 solo tackles and grabbed two interceptions and two sacks in eight regular season games played.
