Eight members of the University of Windsor Lancers football team earned 2025 OUA All-Star honours this past week, announced during the OUA Football Awards Luncheon on November 6, 2025.

Istvan Assibo-Dadzie, and
Brady Lidster were named OUA first-team all-stars.
Weagbe Mombo,
Harrison Daley,
Ethan John, and
Brett Miller were named second-team all-stars, and Miller was also named to the all-rookie team.
Braxton Johnson, a third-year defensive tackle, had 15 solo tackles and 32 total tackles during the 2025 regular season. He led the OUA with 8.5 sacks, which resulted in a cumulative 53 yards for a loss. His best game of the season came during Week 8 in Ottawa where he had 3.5 sacks and five total tackles in a 30-24 Lancer win.
Ahmad Taylor smashed his previous career highs this season, picking up 19 solo tackles and 31 total tackles during the regular season and added eight solo tackles in two playoff games. The third-year defensive end had eight regular season sacks, second in the OUA to Johnson, and two more in the playoffs.
2025 marked the second consecutive season that
Istvan Assibo-Dadzie was named an OUA first-team all-star, as he played in all eight regular season games and picked up 22 solo tackles and 25 total tackles for the blue and gold. The fifth-year cornerback had two interceptions and two sacks in the season as well. Assibo-Dadzie had four solo tackles in the Lancers OUA quarter-final win against Ottawa.
Brady Lidster had a historic 2025 season, setting Lancer records for most field goals in a career (81), most points in a career, most field goals in a single season (27), and his seven field goals on September 27 against Waterloo tied the OUA record. His 27 field goals were the third-most in any OUA season, and he became just the fifth kicker to ever eclipse 25 made field goals in a season. Lidster had two 49-yard field goals this season, and had a walk-off field goal at Queen's in Week 9 to clinch the third seed for the Lancers.
Weagbe Mombo had a prolific 2025 season, rushing for 703 yards and three touchdowns while playing in all eight regular season games. His 87.9 yards per game ranked fourth in the OUA. The fourth-year running back closed out the regular season with 142 and 148-yard games on the road as the Lancers took down Ottawa and Queen's in back-to-back weeks to clinch a playoff spot. Mombo also ran for 107 yards in the quarter-final win against Ottawa and picked up the winning touchdown late in that game.
Harrison Daley was named an all-star for his 19 solo tackles and 27 total tackles in the 2025 regular season. The fourth-year free safety shut down opposing offenses in the air and on the ground, as he forced one fumble and had an interception to go along with this prolific tackling numbers this season.
Ethan John's 40 regular season solo tackles put him fourth in the OUA this season, and he followed that up with 17 tackles across two home playoff games, marking his second season with top-five OUA tackling numbers. The fifth-year defensive back had a season-high eight solo tackles in Week 2 at Laurier, and had back-to-back seven tackle games against Western and Ottawa in two key late season matchups.
Brett Miller was named a second-team all-star and a member of the all-rookie team in his first OUA season. The Hamilton, Ont. native was a key member of the offensive line all season long, and saw his role increase as the season went on, playing in both playoff games.
