The Windsor Lancers are hosting their 19th annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign on Saturday, January 24 to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
As part of U SPORTS's Shoot for the Cure initiative, the money raised the Lancer Breast Cancer Awareness campaign helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives, and will help provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment. The money raised will also help offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families and advocate for healthy public policies.
There will be three Breast Cancer Awareness games on January 24. These games will feature pink Lancer t-shirt for sale, with proceeds going to breast cancer research and care.

- Women's hockey vs. Laurier - 7:30 p.m. at Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex
- Men's basketball vs. Toronto - 8 p.m. at Toldo Lancer Centre

In collaboration with U SPORTS women's basketball, the Shoot for the Cure campaign has raised over $2 million in donations for the Canadian Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer.
