| Box Score 2
The Windsor Lancers Men's Hockey team dropped a pair of games on the road this weekend to the Laurier Golden Hawks and York Lions.

On Saturday afternoon, the Lancers were defeated 4-2 by Laurier in Waterloo. On Sunday, Windsor lost their fourth straight game to open the season, falling 6-2 to York.

The Lancers now sit at 0-4-0 to open the regular season.

On Saturday, the Lancers got behind early as the Golden Hawks scored a pair of first period goals to take an early 2-0 lead.

Laurier would add another to go ahead 3-0 before Windsor got on the board as Danny Anger scored his first of the season to cut it to a two goal deficit.

The Golden Hawks would add a power play marker late in the game to make the score 4-1. Mike Barbour would close out the scoring for the Lancers in the 4-2 defeat.

Laurier outshot Windsor 31-30 in the game.

Against York on Sunday, the Lancers fell behind 1-0 in the first before getting a pair of goals from Kyle Nishizaki and Kyle Laing to take a 2-1 lead at intermission.

The second period was all York as they scored 5 unanswered goals to take a 6-2 lead, driving Jim Watt from the Lancer net. The second period barrage included 20 shots by the Lions as they took control of the game.

The third period went without a goal as the Lions skated to the 6-2 victory.

Frank Dayus came on in relief of Jim Watt and recorded 15 saves for the Lancers.

The Lancers will hit the road on Thursday evening as they travel to London, Ontario for a game against the Western Mustangs. From there, the team will travel to New York for a pair of NCAA non-conference games against Cornell University and Princeton University.
