University of Windsor Lancers men's hockey head coach
Kevin Hamlin has announced the addition of Trent LeDrew, a defenseman from the BCHL's Prince George Spruce Kings, to the 2026-27 recruiting class.
A Windsor native, LeDrew had 26 points (one goal, 25 assists) in 53 games this season with Prince George and followed it up with 10 points in 18 playoff games. The Spruce Kings won their division with a 34-17-3 (W-L-OT) record.
"Trent has [had] a very successful season with the Prince George Spruce Kings," said Hamlin of LeDrew. "He played on the best team in his league and understands the daily effort needed to maintain this [level of play]. His effort and execution will make him a valuable asset to our back end."
2025-26 marked LeDrew's second season with Prince George. His total BCHL experience consists of 124 games and 56 points with Prince George and the Blackfalds Bulldogs. He has also played for the Brockville Braves (CCHL), Wisconsin Windigo (NAHL), and the Blackfalds (AJHL).
