Brock's Joey Pell made it a one-goal game at the 2:52 mark of the third, as he fired a shot from the point that would go off a skate and in.
The Lancers then re-built their two-goal lead as Kyle Tront buried his first of the year on a clear breakaway to give Windsor a 4-2 edge and the victory.
In game two of the weekend doubleheader, the Badgers opted to start freshman goaltender Jordan Bent, while Watt remained in net for Windsor.
With the momentum from the previous night, Windsor came out flying in the first period. With a relentless forecheck, the Lancers were able to cause a turnover in the offensive corner and feed Kyle Nishizaki in the slot who scored on the first shot of the game.
Bent stood tall for the Badgers and made some big saves, allowing Brock to score on the short side to tie the game 1-1.
Brock continued to press and eventually capitalized on a power play opportunity. Steve Mullin scored his second goal of the weekend for the Badgers to close out the first period 2-1 in favour of Brock.
For the second straight period, Windsor began the frame with a quick goal. Brett Vandehogan jumped on a rebound and found the back of the net just twelve seconds into the period to tie the game 2-2.
From there, the contest picked up in physical play with neither team giving an inch. Neither team was able to break the deadlock before the end of regulation.
In overtime, Brock's Ryan Allen forced a turnover in the offensive zone and fed Scott Duncan who was waiting at the point. Duncan fired a shot, that was deflected by Friesen just 29 seconds into the extra period to give Brock the 3-2 overtime win.
The Lancers return home next weekend as they host the Guelph Gryphons on November 6th and 7th at 7:30pm at Windsor Arena.
