Box Score
Lancer rookie guard Enrico Di Loreto scored five of his 20 points in the final minute of the game to lead the Lancers to an 80-73 win over the Western Mustangs on Wednesday night in London.

The victory lifts the Lancers to a 10-3 record and solo possession of second place in the OUA West Division.

On Wednesday night, the No. 8 Lancers led right from the opening tip and were up by as much as ten points in the third quarter.

The Lancers led 40-37 at the half as they managed to keep Western on their heels throughout the opening two quarters.

A ten point Lancer lead in the third quarter was reduced to a 59-54 edge heading into the final frame.

The fourth quarter was a hard fought battle as the Mustangs cut the deficit to just two points with two minutes remaining in the game.

However a strong defensive stand from the Lancers along with some sharp shooting from Di Loreto sealed the victory for Windsor.

Di Loreto, a London native playing in front of the hometown crowd, nailed a clutch three-pointer with 36 seconds left and hit a pair of key free throws down the stretch to give Windsor the 80-73 victory.

Nigel Johnson-Tyghter also had a strong game for the Lancers as he contributed 19 points in the win.

Windsor will face the Brock Badgers on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm against the Brock Badgers in St. Catharines, Ontario.
