No. 8 Lancers knock off Gaels 68-54; defeat Paladins in Kingston

The No. 8 ranked Lancer Men's Basketball team earned a pair of weekend victories on the road over the Queen's Gaels and RMC Paladins.

With the victories, Windsor now sits with an impressive 7-1 record and in first place in the OUA West standings.

On Friday night, the Lancers knocked off the Gaels 68-54 for their sixth win the OUA regular season play.
 
The Lancers held a 36-35 lead at the break and led by four at the end of three quarters. In the final frame, Windsor outscored Queen's 19-9 to seal the victory.

Isaac Kuon had a game-high 28 points in the victory. Lien Phillip had 18 rebounds on the night, using his 6'9 frame to overpower the Gaels' front line. Phillip also finished with a game-high five assists.
 
On Saturday afternoon, Windsor rolled to an easy 112-68 win over the host Royal Military College Paladins.

The Lancers built a big first half lead and cruised to victory over the Paladins. They were able to play all dressed players against RMC and got some of their younger players some significant minutes in the process.

Fifth year senior Monty Hardware had a game-high 25 points, while Tyrone Bramble chipped in with 18 points. Lien Phillip finished with 16 points and rookie Matt Nuna added 13 points.

Windsor will now break for the holidays and resume regular season action on Wednesday, January 5th in London against the Western Mustangs.
