Box Score The Windsor Lancers Men's Basketball team rolled over the Guelph Gryphons 89-68 on Wednesday night at the St. Denis Centre.
With the victory, the Lancers move to 12-5 in conference play and are now tied at the top of the OUA West Division standings with 24 points.
On Wednesday night, Windsor came out gunning as they built a 12-point first quarter lead to take command of the game.
The Lancers increased that margin to a 20-point lead halfway through the second quarter thanks to more solid shooting. Coach Oliver's squad shot 71% from the field in the first half, including 7 for 12 from long range.
In the third quarter, the lead ballooned to 25 points as the Lancers cruised to the 89-68 victory.
Enrico Diloreto,
Andre Smyth and
Josh Collins led the Lancer scoring attack as they each finished with 16 points.
Isaac Kuon also chipped in with 15 points.
The Lancers will be back in action on Saturday night when they host the Laurier Golden Hawks at the St. Denis Centre. Tip-off is set for 8pm.
