Windsor upset on the road 62-60 by Badgers

Lien Phillip had 15 points and 13 rebounds against Brock on Saturday.
Box Score The Windsor Lancers Men's Basketball team was upset 62-60 by the Brock Badgers on Saturday afternoon in St. Catherines.

With the loss, the Lancers move to 11-3 in regular season play and remain in first place in the OUA West Division standings.

On Saturday, the Badgers held a one-point lead, 17-16 after one quarter of play.

The Lancers responded in the second and third quarters and built a 6-point lead over the middle frames heading into the fourth.

In the final quarter, Windsor struggled to find their form at the offensive end as the Badgers outscored them 14-6 to earn the two-point victory.

Lien Phillip led the Lancers in scoring with 15 points and 13 rebounds while Andre Smyth finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Windsor shot only 33% from the field and had 22 turnovers in the game.

The Lancers will look to get back on track next weekend when they travel to Thunder Bay, Ontario to take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves in a battle for first place in the OUA West Division.
