Men's Basketball dominates Western in second half opener

The No. 8 Lancer men's basketball team opened the second half of their season with a convincing 87-72 win over the Western Mustangs on Wednesday night in London.
 
Windsor is now 8-1 in regular season play and holds sole possession of first place in the OUA West division.
 
Isaac Kuon led the Lancers with 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting, while Lien Phillip chipped in the team's sole double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
 
From there the Lancers dominated the floor with a balanced attack with contributions coming from all sides. Monty Hardware had 15 points, Enrico Diloreto had 13, and Andre Smyth chipped in 11 while Josh Collins had nine assists.
 
Windsor started the game with hot offensive shooting to hold a five point lead throughout the first quarter. Western kept the game close with some impressive shooting of their own until Windsor managed to gain control defensively to hold the lead for the duration of the game.
 
Windsor will now host Brad Rootes and the Brock Badgers on Saturday night at the St. Denis Centre. Game time is 8:00pm.
