The Lancers now sit at 2-0 on the season as they head into their first road trip in Montreal to face McGill next weekend.
On Friday night, Coach Hamlin's squad opened the scoring early just five minutes into the contest as newcomer and Windsor Spitfire grad

In the third,
Mark Thorburn would score his first goal of the season to make it 3-2 for the home team.
With the clock winding down, and the Lancers looking to secure the win, Stingers' captain Eric Begin spoiled the party with just 21 seconds remaining on the clock to send the game into extra time.
In overtime, Lancer newcomer
Ryan Green needed just three minutes of extra time to give the Lancers the win, as he snuck the puck past Concordia goaltender Nick Champion for the 4-3 overtime victory.
The Lancers outshot Concordia 50-37 in the contest, as goaltender
Parker Van Buskirk made 33 saves in net for Windsor.
On Saturday afternoon, in a penalty filled affair, the Lancers looked refreshed and ready to go as they dominated the Stingers from the first puck drop.

Kyle Kelly would tie the game up for Concordia before the Lancers took a 3-1 lead at the end of the period with a pair of goals from
D.J. Turner on the power play and
Ryan Green.
Windsor dominated the scoreboard in the middle frame registering five goals over twenty minutes. Goal scorers included Green with his second,
Cory McGillis,
Drew Palmer with two, and Vandehogen's second of the game.
Up 8-3 heading into the third period, Windsor's
Isak Quakenbush added his first career CIS goal before George Lovatsis scored on the power play for the Stingers to round out the scoring.
